Neck Freezer for 'Champagne' Bottles

The neck freezer is a necessary instrument for all the producers of 'champagne' style wines. The neck freezers are available in different sizes, from a minimum of 7 bottle-holders.

The bigger models are designed with a turning plate and a stirring unit to mix the cooling liquid : in this way all the bottles on the plate are freezed at the same level.

After the so called 'remuage' operation is completed - with the bottles placed upside down - it is needed to remove the solid particles inside the bottle.
The neck freezer is designed to cold down the temperature of the wine into the bottle (including all the residual particles) to obtain a solid ice piece, easy to be rejected by removing the crown cap.
